After calling several local companies to quote taking down several large trees extremely close to my house, I went with Arbor Best. Jonathan showed up when he said he would, and looked at the trees. He had gave a very fair price and I, in turn, gave them the go ahead to cut them. He let me know up front that it could be 4-6 weeks with the recent storms. I was completely fine with this. On the 3rd week, he called and verified it would be OK to start the job. His crew showed up on time, and began immediately. I was thoroughly impressed with the skills these guys possess. They are the consummate professionals to say the least. The climber took down each branch methodically and meticulously. There is definitely a method to the madness that is cutting down trees that reach halfway across the roof of a house. They use the utmost care when cutting trees so close to one's largest investment. Don't let the number of years that this company has been in service fool you. The can easily rival any other company you may be able to find, and possibly at a better price. Just for the record, 3 older stumps were ground up free of charge without my asking. Why? Because Jonathan, Jeff and the guys go above and beyond to please the customer. To say i'm pleased is an understatement. When all trees were cut, and the stumps ground, the entire yard was raked with all leaves, sticks etc removed. The piles that were once a tree stump were raked into a very neat and manageable mound, left to decompose and return to the Earth. I will DEFINITELY use Arbor Best in the future when the time comes to remove more trees, or to just trim the unruly ones I still have. There is no reason for me to call anyone else now. I have done my homework, so you won't have to. The picture included is 1 of 6 trees that were removed.

Jonathan and his team were extremely friendly, free quote with no pressure. They arrived promptly and went straight to work. They did an excellent job of taking down my very big tree and they cleaned up when they were done. I am very satisfied with the service and will definitely use them again.

Extremely hard working team!!! Provided a free estimate with absolutely no pressure. I needed approximately 9 trees removed from next to the house. Three of those trees were extremely large (height and width) and needed stumps grinded. Team arrived exactly on the planned date and time. Believe me when I tell you they are very experienced and work together like a well oiled machine!! Did not stop the entire time and were able to complete the job in one day (thought it would take at least two). Completely cleaned any area they touched. Absolutely delighted with everything done and all interactions. I highly recommend to anyone needing tree work done. I will definitely use again and will not even consider another company. They will receive my first and only call for future tree services.

Arbor Best Tree Care removed three trees from my property including two very large trees in close proximity to my house. They did an amazing job. They were friendly and did a wonderful job cleaning up after they were done. I would not hesitate to use them for any of my tree care needs.

Scenario: I had some old pines that were threatening to fall on my neighbor's house. I got a couple quotes from some of the bigger companies in the area and they were all pretty expensive, but I figured that was the going rate. I was about to pull the trigger when I mentioned my plans to my neighbor who had just used Arbor Best to remove some trees at his house. He raved about them, so I figured I'd at least get a quote.

Jonathan, the owner, who worked as a manager for one of the large companies for years and has been running his own company for several years now, stopped by the next day and quoted me at least 10% cheaper than the big guys. He also took the time to walk through the rest of my property and make recommendations. Very professional, very pleasant. And hey, a local small business owner! I always want to support those guys.

So I went with Arbor Best. GREAT decision.

The crew was great: acted professional, showed up on time, very polite. They worked steadily, and even had one crew member mostly just cleaning up so the place wasn't a mess the whole time. The tree trimming was excellent; they really shaped the trees well versus a chop job like you frequently see with landscaping companies.
